Mr Odus Eugene Wilkerson's Obituary
Mr. Odus Eugene Wilkerson, age 80, of Carrollton, Texas, was born in Tulare, California to William Odus Wilkerson and Imogene Roberson.
Odus passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. He married Sally Ingram on October 22, 1966, in Dallas, Texas.
He Served in the Air Force Reserves at Carswell Air force Base in Ft. Worth, Texas from 1965 to 1971.
Odus graduated from U. N. Texas with a BS in Education. While at NT he joined the Sig Ep Fraternity and made a number of lasting friendships. After graduation Eugene went into the Insurance Industry and found something he loved. He worked several years for Floyd West and Company and then joined Farmers Insurance Co. where he worked for 35 years and retired in Feb of 2003.
Odus is preceded in death by: Parents Bill Wilkerson and Imogene Roberson and Hoie Meinzer and many aunts and uncles and cousins.
Odus is survived by: Wife Sally Wilkerson and Daughter Lisa Preissler, Brother Gary Meinzer wife Paula Meinzer and Nephews Derek Meinzer/Wife Kristin Meinzer and Greg Meinzer /Wife Leslie Meinzer, Sister-in-law Debbie Dutton and her Son Wade Dutton and Wife Jaime Dutton and son Silas Dutton.
