My name is Frances Shanz Cason and I am a cousin to David’s grandfather Richard. (My mother was a Sherrard) I just learned of David’s death and wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. From reading about him, it sounds like he was a good family man as well as a good officer. May God Bless all of you and give you comfort.My husband was in sales and we moved around a lot and so I have not kept it touch with family like I should. Another cousin, Ann Gibson of Georgia informed me of David’s death and I am grateful that she did.
