I lived in Lancaster for 10 years and although I did not know Officer Shaw, I feel the loss in my heart. Being a police officer is never an easy job and I thank God that there are those like Officer Shaw who is and was willing to share and give his life for others. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and his extended family of the Lancaster Police Department.

Craig really knew how to brighten a room just by walking in. It seems that I always saw him smiling… always finding ways to help. He was such a wonderful young man who loved his family and his community deeply. My heart aches for Tiwanda and the kids, Lee Edward, Geraldine, Morris, Reggie, April and Ashley. You will live forever in memory. The brothers in blue that you served with are passing on your memory and stories of you heroism to the next generation of Law Enforcement. You are a very loved man are missed greatly by all that knew you, I too miss you although we have never met.
