Ola Lee Mitchell-Allen, 92, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Monday, February 03, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Thursday, May 05, 1927 to her loving and thoughtful parents Willie Mitchell and Leola Haynes in Marshall, Texas. She married Freddie Allen on April 15, 1950 in Marshall, Texas. Ola was a Beautician for 62 years. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her. Ola is survived by her daughters; Freddie Bowman, of Marshall, Texas, Premella Crockett of Dallas, Texas, and Sheila Allen of Dallas, Texas, her sons; Keith Allen of Sachse, Texas, Arba Allen of Dallas, Texas, and Lincoln Allen of Dallas, Texas, eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, and a myriad of aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, friends, neighbors, and church members. Ola was preceded in death by her spouse; Freddie Allen, her parents; Willie Mitchell of Marshall, Texas and Leola Haynes of Marshall, Texas, her son; Michael Allen, her brothers; Willie Mitchell, Barnie Ray Mitchell, Urias Mitchell, Eddie Mitchell, A.C. Mitchell, Howard Mitchell, and Billy Earl Mitchell, and her sisters; Johnnie Mae Mitchell, Delois Mitchell-Shaw, and Arlee Mitchell-Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located at 9550 Shepherd Rd., Dallas, Texas 75243.
