Olga Segura Ramirez's Obituary
Olga Segura Ramirez, 84, passed on to eternal life on March 11, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Born March 3, 1940, she was the daughter of Manuel G. Segura and Dominga D. Garcia. Olga was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Olga spent her early years growing up in Corpus Christi, Texas and was a graduate of Incarnate Word Academy. She briefly attended Del Mar College before marrying the love of her life, Henry Mondragon Ramirez. Together, they grew a family of nine in the home they built together in Carrollton, Texas. Olga dedicated her life to raising their children and assisting her husband with his business. It was calculated that she changed over 100,000 diapers in her career as a loving mother. Her nurturing character and love of children led her to a career instilling her passion for education, where she spent 30 years as a Teachers Aid for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District. Olga enjoyed dancing, singing, reading, and talking with God. She will always be remembered for her exuberant love of life and gift of gab, ensuring that everyone around her felt special and loved.
Olga is survived by her nine children and spouses: Ray Ramirez, Rene Ramirez, Henry Ramirez (Dianne), Roland Ramirez (Stacey), Rueben Ramirez (Yolanda), Rudy Ramirez (Jennifer), Ramsey Ramirez, Laurie Carter (Jason), and Jennifer Ramirez. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren: Ian, Kyndal, Ali, Ashley, Natalie, Sylvia, Emily, Nicholas, Ashton, Tristen, Sierra, Collins, Carys, Kylan, Areli, Alyna and Sophia. Olga is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry, her Father, Manuel, her Step-Mother, Ofelia, and her brothers and sisters: Manuel Jr., Sandra, Rick, Kay, Robert, Jesse, Lupe, and Martin.
Pallbearers will be Ray Ramirez, Rene Ramirez, Henry Ramirez, Roland Ramirez, Rueben Ramirez, Rudy Ramirez, and Ramsey Ramirez.
