Olga Melida Trevino Rubio Our “Bionic Woman” July 28, 1930 – April 15, 2016 Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother & Great-Great Grandmother Olga Rubio was born in Mirando, Texas on July 28, 1930 to Refugio Martinez Trevino and Sofia Garcia Trevino. Olga was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas moving to Dallas approximately in 1955 where she remained until her death, April 15, 2016. Olga’s education was only through the 3rd grade and yet after many years as a seamstress, opened her own business, Olga’s Lounge, successfully maintained for over 30 years. She retired in 2006, at the age of 75. Olga is preceded in death by her parents, Refugio & Sofia Trevino, siblings, Hilda Prestidge, Margarita T. Cook and Roel Trevino, and grand-son, Jason Cervantes, Son-in-laws, Steve DeLuna and Pete Lopez. Olga is survived by her children, Sylvia DeLuna, Dolores & Lupe Cervantes, Perla Abelino & Pauline Trevino; 15 Grandchildren; 26 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Numerous nieces, nephews, etc. Visitation services on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Mass services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos – St. Theresa 2601 Singleton Boulevard Dallas, TX 75212 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 1305 Greenville Avenue Dallas, TX 75243.
