Olive Jeanette Reeve's Obituary
Olive Jeanette Reeve, 98, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 10, 2024. Jeanette (nee Kibler) was predeceased by Leonard R. Reeve her loving husband of 63 years. She was the loving mother of Joan Thompson Archer (Eric) and Richard Reeve (Xochitl Bravo);dearest grandmother of Matthew Soucek (Alex), Gregory LaCava (Holly) Ale Bravo, and great grandmother of Genevieve and Sasha Soucek.
Jeanette grew up in Hudson, Ohio. After graduation from Western Reserve University of Cleveland, where she and Leonard met and married, she raised her family in Brecksville. She enjoyed golfing (scoring five holes-in-one), playing bridge, birding, traveling to many places in the U. S. and Central America. Following Leonard’s passing, she moved to Dallas at Presbyterian Village North where she made many friends and most enjoyed the dining-outs, dancing, shopping, and playing bridge.
Jeanette will be laid to rest in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. A memorial service and gathering for friends and family will be held at a later date. Memorials may be forwarded to The Presbyterian Village North Village Council, Employees Appreciation Fund 8600 Skyline Drive, Dallas Texas 75243.
