He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Catherine Edwards; brother Charles Lenwood Edwards, Jr. Eddie is survived by his children, Oliver L. Edwards, Jr., Thomas L. Edwards and Nancy Kay Youngblood and husband, Pugh; grandchildren: Thomas L. Edwards, Jr., Randi Pantera, Dana L. Edwards, Andrea Hines-Marshall and Matthew Scott Hines; great grandchildren: Jason Maples, Nikki Edwards, Shane Poage, Joshua Edwards, Alexandra Edwards and Jonathan Edwards.
