Ollin Don Chanslor's Obituary
CHANSLOR, OLLIN DONALD born May 6, 1923 in Los Angeles, California went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 26, 2013. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Cheryl Watson Chanslor; his daughter, Susan Elaine Marstallar; son, Stephen Donald Chanslor; grandchildren, Scott, Alison and Chris Chanslor, Cody Marstallar; great grandson, Grayson Marstallar. He grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas. Don attended Polytechnic High School and moved to Dallas in 1951 where he had a long successful carrer as a sales executive and entrepreneur. He was a military veteran where he served as a Naval Aviator in WW II. His passions were his family and serving the Lord at First Baptist Church, Dallas where he was a devoted Sunday school leader and deacon for 50 years. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Dallas in Truett Chapel interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
