Oma was born April 9, 1930 in Happy, Ky and passed away November 16, 2009 in Garland, TX. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Regina Samples, Sharon Samples and Melinda Samples; son, Steven Samples; brothers, Charles Dykes, Cleveland Dykes, and Cecil Dykes. She is survived by her son, Gerald Samples and wife, Mary; grandchildren: Leslie McCutcheon, Cory Parker, Mark Parker, Natalie Dignam, Brandon Samples and Sarah Samples; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Jane and her dog Toby.
