Onitta Raye Derrick's Obituary
DERRICK, ONITTA Born Onitta Raye Thompson in Cooper, TX June 7, 1926. The only child of Marie and Lawrence Thompson. She was married to William B. Herd, of Dallas, for 17 years. They had one son, John B. Herd. They both preceded her in death. Onitta is survived by two step- daughters, Dianna Fullerton and Peggy Derrick, daughters of her late husband Lloyd R. Derrick, two step-grandsons Ben and Matt Fullerton. Onitta and Lloyd were married in 1971 for 29 years before he passed away in 2000. Honorary pallbearers are Elvin, Ben and Matt Fullerton. A special thanks to her nurse Denise Dyer and friend Detrich Nickleberry for their special loving care.
