Opal Janice Housouer, beloved daughter of Joseph and Emma Catherine Ross, mother of Ron Lyons, Janice Loyd Doyle, John Housouer, and James Housouer. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and 4 siblings; her spouses Arthur Lyons, and James Housouer, and is survived by her brother Jodie Ross; her children, Ron Lyons, Janice Loyd Doyle, John Housouer, James Housouer, her 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grand children. She was born in Wylie Texas on December 31, 1926 and peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2015. She was known for extending friendship and bringing joy with her smile and laughter to all she encountered. Like her iridescent namesake, Opal brightened every moment, always reflecting the light of her dearest Saviour. Psalm 100:3. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will take place at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
