Ophelia Anne Clark's Obituary
Ophelia Ann Clark was born on July 15th 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to mother Opel Pauline Smitherman who married Carl Montgomery. Along with her younger sister Sally/Gidget, they lived together as a family in Duncan, Oklahoma. Ophelia attended Oklahoma College for Women and then worked in a variety of clerical support positions in the insurance and investments industries. Ophelia had a passionate fascination with handwriting graphology and thus studied and became a certified Grapho Analyst and a member of the American Grapho Analysis Society. Ophelia married Robert Edward Clark on May 24th 1958 and had two children, Cynthia Ann and Mark Edward. They began their family in Oklahoma, moved to Houston Texas and then moved to Richardson in 1973 where they remain today. Ophelia leaves behind her husband Ed, son Mark, his fiancée Rachael, and her granddaughters Chelsea and Katie Clark. Her granddaughter Carissa and husband Tom Carlley, step grandson Robert and wife Kelly Sheriff, step granddaughters, Malin and husband Scott Maurice, Michele Sheriff, Christine and husband Chad Nordberg and a total of 12 great grandchildren. Ophelia now joins her daughter Cindy in peace. The visitation for Ophelia will be from 06:00 to 08:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Ophelia will be at 12:00 noon on Sunday, February 01, 2015 in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. There will be a gathering immediately following the service at Mark’s house for anyone that would like to attend
