Ophelia Saucedo's Obituary
Ophelia Cantu Saucedo, 86, of Dallas, Texas peacefully passed away on September 21st , 2023 from natural causes.
She was born on November 1st, 1936 in Dallas, Texas and was raised in Buckner Orphan’s Home with her sisters. She attended the Presbyterian Pan American school for Mexican Girls near Taft, Texas until she left to live with her older sister Toni.
She was employed by Neiman Marcus as a model and in sales and later as a teller at Mercantile National Bank.
In 1955 she married her husband, Humberto Saucedo in Dallas, Texas.
Ophelia was predeceased by her mother Josephina Cantu, brothers Johnny and Manuel and her husband.
She is survived by her sisters Benita, Mille, Rebecca and Toni; son, Humberto Bedial Saucedo; grandsons, Luis and Henry Saucedo; and great grandchildren Adrianna, Isabel, Nora, Gabriel and Grace Saucedo.
Services will be held at 10 AM on October 2nd at Restland's Wildwood Chapel in Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, Texas.
A small reception in her honor will be held after the conclusion of the service in the Restland Event Center.
