Mr. Orvie Lee White's Obituary
WHITE, LEE born March 12, 1921 in Dickens, TX and passed away June 10, 2007 in Plano, TX. Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary White. He is survived by his son, Colby White and wife Sharon; daughter, Linda Hager and her husband Tim; sister, Jewel; grandchildren, Gregory White, Shannon Beutnagle, Austin Lee Hager, and Colton Don Hager. Lee was a U.S. Marine veteran and was a Tech Sergeant. He participated in the capture and defense of the Guadal Canal. He began working at Darr’ Caterpillar Equipment Company on January 1, 1954 and worked as the Vice President of Service for 34 years. He like to fish and enjoyed attending his grandkid’s sporting events. Lee attended the Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson, TX.Memorials are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2007 in Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
