Otto Gordon Disch's Obituary
Otto Gordon Disch, age 87, of Garland, TX was born August 6, 1933 in Beaumont, Texas to
William Henry Disch and Cordelia Corinne Geisendorff and passed away November 6, 2020 in Richardson, TX. He spent the latter years of his childhood in Buckner Children’s Home in Dallas. After graduating from high school, he served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, during the Korean War. He then went on to become a manufacturing-line supervisor at Texas Instruments until he retired in 1992.
He became a Christian around the age of 10 and faithfully loved and followed the Lord for the rest of his life. He was a member of Northlake Baptist Church in Garland, TX, where he served as a deacon and taught Bible study. Some of his favorite hobbies included woodworking, spending time with his family, and serving his church.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Disch, to whom he was married for 64 years; daughter Brenda Pemberton and husband Russ of Garland; son Paul Disch and wife Tammy of Garland; granddaughter Jennifer Rodriguez and husband Efrain of Fate, TX; grandson Christopher Disch and wife Rebekah of Alexandria, VA; grandson Michael Pemberton of Boswell, OK; grandson Adrian Disch and wife Kelsey of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren Kaleb Rodriquez, Kohen Rodriguez, Ashley Rodriguez, Piper Disch, and Miles Disch.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother; brother Billy Disch, brother Albert Disch, sister Alberta Martin, sister Catherine Cawthon; half-sister Fredine Disch.
