Owen E Forrester Jr's Obituary
FORRESTER, OWEN E. Born 11/1/1923 in Greenville, TX and passed away 11/3/2011 in Dallas, TX. peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Jean Forrester and after her passing, his second wife, Jackie Kennedy Forrester. O. E. served proudly in the Coast Guard and upon returning from World War II, moved to Dallas and worked designing commercial kitchens. He loved his family and Church community and because of his love of life and wonderful sense of humor, he was loved by everyone he met. A special thanks to Dr. Bob Hillert and his staff for their expert care over the years. Survived by sister Jeannie Graham, daughter Laurie Patrice Forrester, step-daughter Karen Kennedy Seidler and husband David R. Seidler, two grandsons, their wives and one great-grandson. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas TX. 75243. Service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Lake Highlands Baptist Church, 642 Brookhurst Dr., Dallas, TX 75218. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Highlands Baptist Church, American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
