I served as a listening ear for Pam here in my living room a number of times during the last 2-3 years. Because of that, I know that Pam didn't lead a selfish life and lived to help others. And I know from those visits that she cared very deeply for her family and friends. I learned from Pam that I wasn't the only listening ear who counseled her to get her rest and eat and take better care of herself. She put the needs of others before her own needs.
