Pamela Crane Hansen's Obituary
Pamela Crane Hansen, a beloved resident of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on February 4, 1943, in Racine, Wisconsin, Pamela was the cherished daughter of Catherine Crane and Victor Glenn Crane.
Pamela's life was filled with love, adventure, and a passion for various activities. She married James Hansen on December 6, 2011, and together they shared many wonderful years. Pamela will always be remembered for her love of walking, playing tennis, golfing, swimming, and skiing. She was an avid reader, particularly enjoying the works of Kristen Hannah and Danielle Steel. Pamela also found joy in playing bridge with her girlfriends and had a successful career in commercial real estate and property management.
Her favorite pastimes included watching the Hallmark Channel, gardening, and traveling abroad, with Maui, Hawaii, holding a special place in her heart. Pamela had a sweet tooth for chocolate chip cookies and a fondness for tulips.
Pamela is preceded in death by her husband, James Hansen; her parents, Glenn and Catherine Crane; and her brother, Charles "Skipper" Crane. She is survived by her loving family: her son, Jeffrey Berthold, and his spouse, Thomas Wilson; her daughter, Nicole Smith, and her husband, Jeff Smith; her grandchildren, Hannah Smith and Hunter Smith. Pamela is also survived by her siblings, Bill and Sharon Crane, Kim and Pat Smith, Jana and Steve Scobee, and Tab and Christy Crane, Jeffrey and Nicole's father, Fred Berthold, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pamela's vibrant spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a family who will forever hold her in their hearts.
