Pamela Ann Landrum Compton's Obituary
Pamela Ann Landrum Compton passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2022.
Pamela is survived by her loving and devoted husband Gary Alan Compton, her daughter Valerie Ann Young and husband Christopher, grandsons Grayson and Silas Young, Pamela’s son Kaegan Compton and fiancé Alyssa. Pamela’s dear friend and cousin Linda Landrum Wolfe and husband Paul, dear friend and sister-in -law Ann R Compton and many nieces and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by many wonderful family and friends, loving parents Leonard and Geraldine Landrum, her wonderful brother Jim Landrum, and dearest sister Mary Beth Jackson.
Pamela was a graduate of Bryan Adams High School class of 1972 and earned her degree in English in 1975. Pamela worked so very hard over many years and was a successful manager of local Dallas rock bands, later beginning her career in orthopedic soft goods and sports medicine. She took several small companies and was proud to work hard to grow them large and successful.
Pamela was a passionate music lover, a rock and roll goddess, a businesswoman and avid collector of antiques, dolls and doll houses and so very many Barbies.
Pamela ‘s bright and vibrant personality combined with her unique and eclectic humor made her a light in any room and her kindness drew people to her always.
We all take comfort that she is with her lord and savior, her dearest friends and family, and all of her many beloved pets. She will be so very missed. We will celebrate the many good times, the hilarious moments, and the deep love she felt for us all.
Family will begin to welcome friends for visitation on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 5:00pm -7:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2:30pm at Restland Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Committal service to follow at Restland Memorial Park, Whispering Waters Mausoleum.
