Pamela Jane Aikens Mount, 71, of Oak Cliff, Texas, was born in Dallas, Texas, on October 28, 1951, to John and Robbie Aikens. A loving, kind, compassionate and witty woman, Pamela passed away peacefully on July 1, 2023. As a pillar of the Oak Cliff community, Pamela was a light who shined brightly, forging many valuable relationships with people in the greater Dallas area, Cliff Temple Baptist Church, the film industry, gardening groups, and other organizations. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and sister (Linda Aikens). Known affectionately as “Mimi,” Pamela is survived by her son (Jackson Conaway), daughter (Amanda Hunter), son-in-law (John Hunter, Jr.) grandchildren (Trey Conaway, Emma Hunter, and Blake Hunter), sister (Susan Yarber), loyal Labrador (Sam), numerous other family members, and an abundance of friends, co-workers, and neighbors.
