Pamela Woodrum's Obituary
Woodrum, Pamela K., 59, earned her wings as an angel as she went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 16, 2012. Pamela was born December 30, 1952, a daughter of H. Wayne Crader and A. Inez Crader. She loved, admired, and respected her parents and showed that every day of her life. She Graduated from Kimball High School in Dallas, TX, and later married Danny L. Woodrum on September 3rd, 1977. Danny preceded her in death in 2006. Pam was a lifetime member of Oak Cliff Christian Church and had a true love for our dear Lord. Pam was blessed with one daughter, Kalyn, who was born May 8, 1980. Pam was a dedicated mother, her life revolved around giving her all to her daughter in every way, they had a special bond, not only as mother and daughter, but as friends. In February 2004 Pam experienced what she felt was life’s greatest reward when she became a grandmother for the first time. She was a loving “Grammy” to all of her grandkids and enjoyed giving encouragement to them, not to mention all of the special Grammy hugs and cuddle times they shared. She was a blessing to many and had a natural gift of caring for others. She cared for her mother when she became ill with cancer, her father, and then her husband as well. Pam often pushed herself aside to ensure the care or need of others. She had a heart bigger than this world. As her health declined, she fought a true life battle, however this only drew her closer to our dear Lord. She had a strength that enabled her to continue on through prayer and family. Pam had a smile that you could never forget. She was at peace with going home to the Lord when He called her, and although she so greatly loved her family here, she had long awaited to be with her loved ones in heaven. Pam always offered her words of wisdom to the many people she cared about. She unselfishly did so much for so many, especially her family, and she will be dearly missed and loved always. Pamela Woodrum is survived by daughter and son-in-Law, Kalyn and Jerry Worthey; grandchildren, William, Hannah, Kadan, Kameran, and Ben; and many other family memebers. Visitation will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
