Pasqualina Patricia Wagley's Obituary
Pasquelina Patricia Wagley was born on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1926, to Sicilian immigrants Rosario and Guiseppa Puliafico. She was raised in Barre, Massachusetts, but met the man of her dreams at a USO dance in Boston. Cpl. Travis Wagley swept her off of her feet and down to Irving, Texas in 1949. On Carolyn Street, they raised two daughters, Mary and Annette. Pat walked to work as a hair stylist every day where she helped women look and feel their best. She moved to Denison, Texas in 2001 and remained there until her death on October 29, 2018, at the age of 92.Family, Texas Rangers baseball, gossip magazines and word find puzzles were Pat’s passions. Everyone who met her thought she was the sweetest person in the world, and she loved so many. Her loss has left a hole in her family, but they are heartened by the knowledge that she is in heaven with Jesus, her beloved husband, her first daughter, Carolyn, who died in childbirth and all of her dearly missed siblings.I want to live my life just like you didMake the most of my time just like you didAnd I want to make my home up in the sky just like you didBut until I get there just save a place for meSave a place for mePat is survived by her daughters Mary Rylant of Denison; and Annette Jones of Log Cabin, Texas; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a large extended family In New England, the Dallas area and Sicily.Visitation will occur at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas on November 3rd at 9 am with funeral services to follow at 10 am.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
