I met Pat through The Town North Woman's Club around 2001. We became good friends immediately. We just seemed to click. Pat was very intelligent and knew how to live the single life and I was just beginning that journey. Through her I learned how to live again. We did a lot of things together such as going to see musicals, operas. good restaurants, we even took a couple vacations together. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she took the news in stride a typical Pat reaction. She was very strong through out the past 5 years, never complained and kept a positive attitude, which I admire her greatly for. I will miss her at the Bridge Table and in so many other ways, but I know I will see her again and she will be free cancer and I know she is having a good time in heaven right now. It's hard to lose a good friend, but I know God is in charge.
