Pat Loi's Obituary
Our beloved father Pat Loi went home with the Lord on November 17, 2022. He would be so happy to meet his Lord for the first time and be able to see his wife, Jenny Loi, again whom he married for 61 years. He is survived by four children and five grandchildren.
Pat was a kind and hardworking man who raised his family with an honest and diligent lifestyle. Even though he did not have a chance to complete his education, he was a fast learner and had great determination to accomplish his goals. He taught himself to design jewelry and ran his jewelry business successfully for many years. He also taught himself about electronics and he became a biomedical engineer to continue raising his family after coming to the States.
He loved his family very much and never expressed a word of complaint even in his toughest time in life after the Vietnam war. He kept encouraging his children to learn new things and realized the importance of education. He often shared world news, science, medical knowledge, and many exciting topics with his children and was the go-to person for answers. He imprinted the importance of learning into his children’s lives.
When all of his children's families gathered for a meal every Saturday, he always thanked God for giving us a large family and for everyone to have jobs and health. Even though he had dementia in the last couple of years of his life, he always smiles, continued to give thanks to his God, and still remembered his children.
Even though we will all miss Pat very much, we found comfort in our Lord Jesus Christ that he is currently free of sickness, and we will meet him again in Heaven. We are certain that he is very happy and learning new things in Heaven, and he will always be remembered and remain in our hearts.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at 1:00 PM.
