Pat Routson's Obituary
Pat Routson was born March 11, 1937 in Amarillo, Texas, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 26, 2015 in Plano, Texas. He was preceded in his death by his father, Frank Routson, and his mother, Lelia Stanley. He is survived by his son Mark Routson, and his daughter-in-law Karla Routson. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Addison Routson. Pat graduated from Phillips High School in 1955. He was a member of the 1st Battle Group, 18th Infantry task force that conducted the historic march to Berlin, Germany on August 20, 1961. He enjoyed fishing more than anything, and fished Lake Texoma for stripers for more than 30 years. He will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Wildwood Chapel on the grounds of the Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
