Ms. Patricia Ann Brisendine's Obituary
Patricia Ann Brisendine was born in Columbus, Ohio on September, 23rd, 1934. Her parents were Arthur and Hazel Edwards, and had three older brothers, Phillip, Robert, and Richard. She moved from Columbus Ohio area to Portland Oregon at the age of 13. Due to her father’s failing health the family relocated to Dallas Texas in 1950. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1952. During her high school years, she met Earl Brisendine, and they were married for 12 years, and had three children, Larry, Doug, and Robyn. Patricia attended Richland College and North Texas University to further her career; she worked for Frozen Food Express from 1964 – 1968 as Secretary to the President, Varo Inc. in Garland from 1968-1981, as Executive Secretary, and then Sales Coordinator, and finally with Collmer Semiconductor from 1982 until she retired in 2000, as Sales Coordinator. Patricia loved Dancing, and in fact, taught as a dance instructor for Arthur Murray for a time. She loved working with Arts and Crafts, taking trips with her daughter, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and performed volunteer work for various organizations, as she loved helping people. She was an absolutely wonderful mom, a true GIVER, and always had time to help her friends and family whenever they needed her. WE WILL MISS HER DEARLY…
