Pat was a wonderful lady and mother of my favorite childhood friends. Heaven truly gained a beautiful soul.
Pat Brown was a wonderful lady and mother of my best childhood friends, Tammy, Steve and Jim. She out of the kindness of her heart included me when she made Tammy’s and my Chargerette uniforms for drill team. She often loaded up all us kids to take us for ice creams or snow cones. Later in life she hired me as a temporary to work for her at Apple Computer. She was the boss lady there and all her subordinates respected her and loved her. She was full of advice and encouragement. She encouraged me to stay in school and to have a good work ethic. She was a very hard-working mother. I’d see her leave for work daily and she’d always make her family a big meal for dinner when she got home. She was a great cook. Tammy would often describe to me what her mother made them for dinner. She loved her family dearly. One day while I was in the front yard, I heard a very loud scream and saw Pat crying and walking fast to get into a car with a man. Later I found out that Kenneth had had an accident at work and his dad came to tell her and take her to the hospital. She was beautiful, kind, authoritative and loved deeply. She always wanted the best for her family. She was traditional, at Christmas they always had a real tree and you would not believe all the presents. She loved her younger brother Charles as if he was her own son. If she loved you, you were a very fortunate person. She was an icon in my life, someone you could admire and look up to. Rest in peace, momma Pat.
I will forever treasure my quilt from this sweet lady. My memories are fond and forever. P.S. keep Dean in line. He needs all the help he can get.
