Patricia Gail Corman's Obituary
Patty Corman of Coppell, Texas passed away on March 9, 2025 after a short illness. She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Boots (Kyle), one granddaughter Amanda Tatro and one great-granddaughter, Tabitha Tatro, nephew, Mark Sutherland (Debbie), J. Michael Sutherland (Dawn) and Shawn Sutherland (Judy), six stepchildren and numerous step grandchildren and many friends.
Preceding Patricia in death were her daughter, Daphne Cave, husband, Cecil Corman, mother, Reba Sutherland, stepfather, Lee Sutherland, father, Willie D. Roach and numerous aunts and uncles, all of Collin County. Patty previously lived in Iring, Texas for many years and in Oklahoma City for 4 years.
Patty was born on June 3, 1940 at the McKinney home of her grandparents, Lillie and Portman Barker. She graduated from McKinney High School in 1958 and entered the workforce immediately, joining the General Servies Administration (GSA) in Dallas, Texas in a typing pool. She retired in1994, after achieving the position of Executive Secretary to the Regional Administrator of GSA in Fort Worth. While living in Oklahoma City, she was employed by the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Postal Service Training Center on the OU campus in Norman, Oklahoma.
Patty didn't remain retired for very long. She worked part-time for Hunter and Associates Office Furniture Company from 1996 to 2010.
Patty was proud of her long career, having made many wonderful, lasting friendships during the years.
Graveside services will be held at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, she has requested that memorial donations be made to your favorite charity.
