Patricia Lou Ellis' Obituary
Patricia Connell Ellis, 89, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ in the early morning hours of April 1, 2026.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana September 13, 1936, the only child of loving parents who eventually settled in Highland Park after the war, she attended Highland Park schools and SMU, earning her teaching degree.
Teaching several years at Florence Black Elementary in Mesquite, she met and married William John Ellis, a former local bank officer and real estate appraiser, who pre-deceased her in 2021, after fifty-three years of marriage.
She is survived by their only son, James Connell Ellis of Dallas. Patricia was a mother who adored her son, and they enjoyed many years of experiencing her long life together. She also loved animals. Patricia had cats and dogs as pets through the years that brought much happiness to her life.
A member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church, Patricia served many years there as a Preschool Teacher, finishing her Educator career there.
Funeral services are set for Friday, April 17th at 2 PM at the Restland funeral home Wildwood chapel in Dallas, TX.
