Patricia Ann Erickson's Obituary
Patricia Ann Erickson, of Royse City, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the age of 78. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her.
She was born on September 23, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Lloyd and Mildred Howard. She married Brent Erickson on January 26, 1968, and remained happily married until his passing in 2025.
Patricia loved her family and quit the workforce to take care of her grandchildren. She loved plants and working in her yard brought her much joy. She was dedicated to helping animals in any way she could; she took in stays and volunteered at the animal shelter.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brent Leigh Erickson, her parents, Lloyd Winfred Howard and Mildred Louise Howard (Wilson), her grandson, Tyler Dalton Freeman, and her brother-in-law, Paul Oliver “Eric” Erickson.
Patricia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Tim Freeman and grandson Taylor Freeman; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Pete Carr and grandchildren Morgan and Jameson Bagnell; sister-in-law Erica Erickson; nephew Oliver Erickson and family; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dale and Jewel Erickson; niece Elizabeth Hayes and family; and nephew Chris Erickson.
The visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 26 at Restland Funeral Home – Wildwood Chapel, where the Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m and interment in Restland Cemetery.
