Patricia Ann Ford's Obituary
FORD, PATRICIA ANN PEARCE passed away May 8, 2008 in Plano, Texas. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 11, 1931 to Jennie and Jake Capraro. Patricia attended The Academy of Holy Angels where she graduated with honors. While in New Orleans, she was a Model for the Janzen Company. She later attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she studied general business and home economics. She married Louis F. Pearce and moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee. After the birth of her son, Jeff, Patricia worked as a real estate broker and later became the manager of the real estate firm. She was very active in the community, was the director of the Annual Chattanooga Christmas lighting committee and humbly chaired several charities for under privileged children. In 1972, Pat moved to Dallas where she was married to Raymond E. Ford until his death. She worked in the business community owning various businesses and finally retired from Neiman Marcus. She was very active in her son’s activities both at Jesuit College Prep and Southern Methodist University where his friends aptly named her ‘Mom.” She is survived by her beloved son Jeff G. Pearce and Louis F. Pearce, both of Plano and Judy Ford Blake and Bob Blake of South Carolina. Memorial services will be Friday, May 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gazebo at Restland Memorial Park. Donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
