Patricia Green's Obituary
Patricia S. Green, 73, of Aubrey, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2022.
A wake will be held on Saturday, December 10th from 1-4 PM (service will be held at 2 PM) at
Covenant Church (Chapel) located at 2660 E Trinity Mills Rd, Carrollton, TX. Pastor Kerry
Reynolds of Covenant Church will be officiating. A Celebration of Life service will be held on
Friday, December 16th at 10 AM at Metro Life Church at 10045 NW 19th St, Doral, FL 33172.
Pastor Amie Dockery will be officiating. A burial will follow where Patricia will be laid to rest with
her beloved husband at Vista Memorial Gardens at 14200 NW 57th Ave. Miami Lakes, FL
33014.
Patricia was born in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on December 26, 1948. She was married to her
husband, Benjamin F. Green, for 42 years. Patricia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary
Education after working many years as a paraprofessional. She was dedicated to her work with
Dade Public Schools for 20 years. She retired with her husband in 2009.
Patricia’s accolades are given to her by her daughters who rise up and call her blessed. Her
ultimate success was loving tenderly, giving grace abundantly, and living a life with an
unwavering dedication to Jesus. Her favorite hobby was to pray daily with her intercessory
group. She gave generously every month to several ministries and organizations that complete
missions and bless the nation of Israel.
Patricia loved to spend her time with family and friends. Lovingly referred to as Miss Pat, Mama
Pat, or Mrs. Green, close friends, family and students revered her as a precious and sweet
Angel on Earth, a shining light, and prayer warrior for many. Her legacy is perfectly represented
in her three daughters and extended to those who she touched, loved, and saved.
Patricia is survived by her sister, Jacqueline Bourda of Louisiana, her three daughters, Rachia
Green, Yoshika Green, and Sherria Green of Texas, and a host of extended family through
blood and marriage.
Patricia is preceded in death by her adored husband, Benjamin F. Green, sister, Ersala Guillory,
and parents, Allen and Alberta Smith.
