Patricia Hale's Obituary
PATRICIA “TRICIA” MCCLENNY, 68, of Carrollton, TX was peacefully healed into Heaven on January 29. Trisha was born September 27, 1945 in Dallas, TX to Ruth Jane Lapsley McClenny and L.P. McClenny. She graduated from Wheaton Academy in 1963 and Wheaton College, IL in 1967. After thirty years of teaching-many at Trinity Christian Academy–Trisha fulfilled a life-long dream by singing internationally with the Dallas Symphony Chorus from 1996 to 2009. She is survived by C. Benjamin Hale, PhD, sons James Brooks and John McClenny Aaron and his wife Sara McClung, and grandson Alex Benjamin, as well as three sisters and brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. Trisha’s deepest passion was sharing the joy of knowing Christ. She befriended and sacrificially served people in all walks of life, even as life-long diabetes brought her close to death many times. Trisha faithfully served Grace Bible Church, developing and running a care ministry there for a time. She leaves a legacy of laughter, the joy of song and overwhelming generosity. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Restland Memorial Park. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at Grace Bible Church.
