Pasty was an inspiration to us all and had a great sense of humor. I am sad that I am not able to attend the services, but I want you to know that I adored her. I first met Patsy when I taught her to play Mah Jongg and she worked many elections with me and was my right hand when it came to paperwork. Even when oxygen was low her spirits were high, the first time I went to her house I was standing on her oxygen tube, she gently tapped me and asked me to give her some air. Another time her oxygen tank ran out while at work, between breaths she calmly talked me through the process of changing her tank all the while keeping her great sense of humor I on the other hand was a nervous wreck. I always loved playing cards and Mah Jongg with her. I will miss her dearly.
I worked with Patsy at the City of Richardson for several years. She was a friend and a joy. She was appreciated and gave much throughout her personal battles.
Patsy was a fun and witty head of Circle of Friends canasta group. She always addressed the members as Sirens and gave a weather report in her weekly note about canasta. When asked how she was, she replied in a sunny positive manner. She will be greatly missed by all her many Circle friends.
Patsy’s friends from Richardson High School class of 1967 have posted many messages of sympathy and condolences on the class Facebook page and the RISD Memorial page. She will be remembered and missed.
