Patricia Jones Cox's Obituary
Born on March 17, 1916 in Sherman, TX and passed away on June 15, 2008 in Dallas, TX. She attended Sam Houston State where she received her Bachelors of Education and later went on to receive her Masters Degree in Domestic Science. She was active in the D.A.R., Dallas Fine Arts Museum, and the Republican Party. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John C. Cox, Jr.; brother, James William Johns, Jr.; sister, Martha LeMay Jones; and parents, James and Charlotte Jones. She is survived by nieces, Charlotte Rotthoff, Susan Colbert, and Cathy Curry; nephews, Bill Jones and Lee Cox; two grand nieces; 1 great-grand niece; and 1 great-grand nephew. Special thanks to her healthcare givers, Verna Hawkins, Annie Lou Mulvany, Sonia Jiminez, and Betty Kelly.
