Patricia Ann Karch's Obituary
Born Sept. 20, 1923 in Dayton, OH and passed away Dec. 21, 2011 in Plano, TX. The third child of Edith and Arthur Ostendorf, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Karch on Jan. 9, 2003 and by her brothers Lloyd and Edward and sister Jeanne. Patricia and Paul were married on Aug. 7, 1943 while Paul was serving as a lieutenant in the Air Force. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in 2002. She is survived by sister Nancy and brother Phil as well as daughter Carol, sons Richard and Ted, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Patricia worked side-by-side with husband, Paul, as a freelance commercial artist illustrating books and other items for publishers in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee among others. Services for Patricia will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel at Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1201 Alma Dr., Plano TX 75075. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the church at the address above or made at the memorial service. Patricia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
