Shellie, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was such a warm and loving person. I was the school nurse at O'Henry and loved being there with your mom. She was so excited when I told her that my daughter, Tiffany, was going to A&M, as you were already there! I have heard from her every Christmas since those days, until this year. She was so proud of you and adored her little grandsons! PAUL'S through activities with you and Kellie. I am so glad you had a special 2 years with her in San Antonio. My prayers are with you and your family.

It's impossible to share just one memory of Pat. We made so many – both fun and sad – over the years. She fought thru so many medical battles over the years, and she won every one of them until this last one. I think God finally said enough, time for you to come home. We will miss her beyond words, but know that she and Bill are once again together and smiling down on their family and friends.

Shellie, Your mom was like a second mother to me! My first year of teaching was at O. Henry Elementary and I had just moved to Dallas. My family was living in Houston at the time so I definitely needed a "mom" to get me through many days! She was always there to help out and offer advice throughout the 9 years I spent there. Shellie, Missy and I have so many great memories of your mom helping us at school and you 2 girls as friends. She helped me so often with info I needed for my PTA jobs and even got me the crochet pattern for the ponytail ties your grandmother made for you! Pat encouraged me to go to work for the district and she and Doris Garrett gave me wonderful advice and warm friendship over the years. I never remember seeing her without a big smile on her face and she always had time for a kind word. I'm so happy to hear that she had time to spend with you and your boys.
