I'll never forget the first time I met Pat and Howard at a tournament in Abilene. With them, you were immediately a part of their family. Her smile and hospitality gave hundreds of people a sense of family and home. She was the epitome of encouragement and love to many of us.
Pat has been a part of my life since I was 15. She is going to be missed by many people. So many lives have been touched by this precious woman. All of you are in my prayers.
I have nothing but years of happy memories of big Texan Pat hugs & smiles, love, hi's & Texan hospitality from her. She always made me feel so good inside. She was so instrumental in TX establishing and maintaining a national training center for our USA VB team. We excelled as a result. Love & hugs to you in heaven. Matt and family- We are so sorry to lose your mom. She was so special to my family that I cannot imagine life without her. I know she had thousands of friends, but she never failed to make us feel as though we were the most special people in the world. We will miss her tremendously. Kim Quirk

Thanks for sharing Pat with the vballers. She was proud to wear the Red, White & Blue and many other colors as she cheered, coached and urged others on to better things. Oh! What a roommate! I was privileged to have on the rare occasions that Howard was not by her side. Lots of laughs, very little sleep. Angels, cherish your memories & live life with gusto.
