Patricia Lynn McGuire's Obituary
MCGUIRE, PATRICIA LYNN Born August 7, 1948 in Illinois, Patricia Lynn McGuire moved with her family to Texas in 1960. She graduated from Midland High School in 1966 with honors and earned a degree from Texas Tech University in 1970 in computer programming. Her first job out of college was with Gulf Oil Company and she spent the last 24 years with Texas Instruments. Pat was a devoted daughter to her mother Jeanne and father Richard, Sr. She doted on her nephews and nieces and became the beloved matriarch of our family. Her exuberant benevolence was shared with all who knew her. She was active in her community coaching women’s sports and served on boards for many charities all while living a quiet life with her many dogs throughout her lifetime. She left our world May 9. Her passing is preceded by those of her parents. She is survived and terribly missed by her sister, Marilyn, brothers, Richard, Jr. and Tim, sisters-in-law, Gigi and Joy McGuire. She will always be Aunt Pat to Cameron, Ryan and Erin as well as Garrett and Mollie McGuire. Service will be held at 12:30PM, Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
