Patricia Lynn Morgan's Obituary
“I’m not very good at
making specific plans.
Just meet me under the sky
somewhere and be alive
with me.”
Victoria Erickson
Patricia Lynn Morgan was born on April 19, 1947, in Texarkana, Arkansas. She grew up in Texarkana and met the love of her life, Charlie, as a teenager in Mount Pleasant. They married in 1969 and shared 44 years of marriage — years that were sometimes
difficult, sometimes ordinary, but always filled with deep love and enduring commitment — until Charlie’s passing.
Pat was a devoted and nurturing mother, and a joyful, sweet, and spirited “GoGo” to her beloved Kai. She had a huge heart and a genuine compassion for others. Whether volunteering through her church, leading Girl Scouts, or helping out in the community, Pat gave her time and energy with love and intention. She had a gift for keeping everyone in line — always with a warm smile and from a deeply loving place.
A true adventurer at heart, Pat had a passion for travel and embraced every opportunity to explore the world. She visited India, Africa, China, Costa Rica, and more — immersing herself in different cultures with openness and wonder, gaining appreciation and insight from each journey.
Pat was a strong, supportive, and loving wife, a caring and ever present mother, and an unforgettable GoGo. Her presence was grounding, her heart expansive, and her life a beautiful blend of leadership, service, and love.
Pat is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Elda Thomas; her father, Harve Thomas; and her husband, Charlie Morgan. She is deeply missed by her daughter, Page Morgan, and her cherished grandson, Kai Peters. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Tommy Thomas and Jean Thomas, along with the many special family members and dear friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and generous spirit.
