Patricia "Pat" Newman's Obituary
NEWMAN, PATRICIA “PAT” HULSEY beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, after an 8 year battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, died peacefully in her home in Knoxville, TN surrounded by family on May 17, 2013 at the age of 77. She was born on December 28, 1935 in Calera, OK to Henry Walter and Myrtle Dunn Hulsey. After graduating from a one room school house in Achille, OK she moved to Dallas in 1954. On February 12, 1960, she married Jerry Newman. Thirteen years after Jerry’s death in 1992, she moved to Knoxville to be near her family. She is survived by: her daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Chuck Hayden; her grandchildren, Kendall, Luke, Matthew and Ryan; her nephews, Mike Morgan and wife, Mary of Mt. Vernon, TX, Sonia Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Dustin Wesson and wife, Marissa and their 3 children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Newman, and her sister, Theresa Oreta Morgan. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Restland Abbey Chapel with receiving of friends beginning at 2pm and a graveside service immediately following.
