Patsy was born on June 25,1942 in Knoxville, Tenn. to John P. Hoffman and Mary Colvin Hoffman and passed away on Dec 27, 2020, in Dallas, Texas
Following Patsy's father's work as a project Engineer with the Tennessee Valley Authority and engineering projects at Oak Ridge Tennessee the family returned to Dallas where Patsy entered the Highland Park School System at Armstrong Elementary School. Patsy also attended the Hockaday School and Highland Park Highschool. Following the death of her Father, Patsy moved to Shreveport, La. and lived with her beloved Aunt Pattie Thigpen and finished High school at ST. Vincent Academy. She attended Christian College in Columbia, Mo.
Patsy was an accomplished Interior Designer and creative cook who started her own catering and planning service. Patsy had an adventurous spirit living in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Padre Island, Tex. and San Destin, Fl, always making friends along the way. She had a loving open spirit and quick wit and dearly loved her children, family, friends and her special pets that surrounded and "protected" her
Surviving Patsy are her Daughter, Mary Elizabeth Bond Jones and husband John of Dallas, son John Smith Sale of Dallas, Granddaughters Emily Catherine Sale and Lilly Sale of Grapevine, Tx. Brother John P. Hoffman and wife Sandra of Shreveport, LA, Niece, Mary Elizabeth Hoffman Smith of Richardson, Tx., Great Niece, Laura Smith of Richardson, TX. and Great nephew, Christopher Smith of Dallas. and pre deceased by Nephew John P. Hoffman III, and numerous nieces and nephews. Special gratitude to the many nurses and Aids and Doctors who attended Patsy with loving care over the many months of her illness. "Everyone" Loved Patsy, Always a Smile, Never Down.
