Patricia " Patsy Jean" Moore's Obituary
Patricia Jean Parks Moore, age 78 of Kaufman, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home the morning of Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was born in Bogota, Texas, to the late Joe Parks and Ida Mae Waldrip Parks on September 16, 1939.She married the love of her life, Kenneth Dale Moore, in Garland, TX in 1966. They raised their son, Keith Dion Moore, in Garland where they were active members of Jupiter Road Baptist Church for more than 20 years. After many years of running their own business in Garland, Patricia and Dale retired to Kaufman, Texas in the 1990s.Patricia is survived by her son, Keith Moore, daughter-in-law, Tracey Moore, 2 grandchildren, Kolton (age 10) and Ashlyn (age 8) of Forney, Texas; her sister, Sandra Giles; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Trixie. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and three brothers, Joe Paul Parks, Bob Parks, and Earl Wayne Parks.She will always be loved and remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at Restland Funeral Home (Dallas) in The Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 22 at 2:30; family visitation will be at Restland on Friday, September 21 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
