Patricia Ann Roberts' Obituary
Patricia Ann Page Roberts passed away on February 28, 2015. Pat was born in Readings Mill/Joplin, Missouri on June 3, 1928 to Byron F. and Azalea E. Page and moved from Denver, CO to Dallas, TX while in High School. She graduated from Highland Park High School and Southern Methodist University. Pat was preceded in death by her husband William T. Roberts, granddaughter Francis M. Guest and grandson Michael T. Roberts. Pat is survived by her three children and their spouses Herbert and Helen Roberts; Elizabeth and Mark Guest; and Patricia and Malcolm Young and her grandchildren, Bradley W. Roberts, Justin M. Robert;, Paul M. Guest; Page Young Gill and her husband Stephen and Brooks P. Young and his wife Carleton. Pat had a long career in Market Research. She loved to play bridge and was active in Christ The King Altar Society, Lakeside Browning Club, Seneca Review Club and the Friday Forum. But more importantly, she was the best mom and friend you could find. Her grandchildren remember her continual kindness and caring. She had a special unique relationship with each of them. The family would like to thank Vernetta Bell for taking such wonderful care of our Mother for over six years. We also thank her other care-givers Emebet Dubale and Rose Evans for treating her so special. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5th at Christ The King Catholic Church, 8017 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75225. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 Memorials may be made to the Francis Mary Guest Scholarship and sent to: Texas Health Resources Foundation, PO Box 20038, Arlington, TX 76006-9946 JohannaBates@TexasHealth.org , 682-236-5200. The scholarship was named in honor of Pat’s granddaughter and is awarded annually to very deserving nurses and allied health workers.
