Patricia Ruth Smith's Obituary
Patricia Ruth Smith, a resident of Dallas, passed away October 29, 2022 at the age of 95. She was born December 29, 1926 to Hamilton Hix White and Zetta Karen (Warwick) White in Sabinal, Texas. She had two brothers, Robert White and Glenn White, who both preceded her in death.
Patricia grew up in south Texas, where she met her husband of 31 years, John R. Smith. They moved to Houston Texas and raised four children. John R. preceded her in death in 1976.
In 1968 the family moved to Dallas, Texas where Patricia lived out her last 54 years. Through the years she worked for Southwest Paint & Wallpaper, D&W Nameplate and 41 years at Air-Seal/General Felt.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Haralson and Ruth Adams and son-in-law, Paul Adams; her sons, Glenn Smith and Robert Smith and daughters-in-law, Judy Smith and Melinda Smith; her grandchildren, Jennifer Christy, Lindsay Adams, Maggie Smith, Jack Smith, Nicole Mahoney, Noelle Jahncke; and her great-grandchildren, Penelope and Ben Christy, Meritt and Georgia Mahoney, Smith and Pike Jahncke; and nephew, Dennis White, and niece, Kelly Herrin.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Restland Memorial Cemetery, Field of Honor.
