Patricia Ann Steinmetz's Obituary
Patricia Ann Clark Steinmetz passed away August 22, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Pat is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Richard Frederick Steinmetz, her parents Wayne and Waunita Clark and her daughter Priscilla Carin French. She is survived by her sister Beverly Kay Lewis (husband Dan Lewis), son Philip J French, daughter Cynthia R Baker and son in law Franklin T Baker. Pat was known as Grandma Pat and Memaw by her five grandchildren Stephanie Mansfield (husband Chad), Schelly Bartels (husband Erik), Ashley Kontnier (husband Robert), Luke Baker and Ty Baker. Her Great Grandchildren are Yitzchak Mansfield, Tuvia Mansfield, Theresa Mansfield, Eliana Mansfield, Brytan Bartels, Camdyn Bartels, Jamesyn Bartels and Kyden Kontnier. Her nephews are Adam Lewis (wife Lee Ann and daughter Jordan) and Aaron Lewis (wife Megan and children Lincoln and Anna). Patsy was a Texas girl her whole life. She graduated from Richardson High School and attended Henderson County Junior College where she was a Cardette. Pat worked in a bank the majority of her life, retiring from Legacy Bank in Plano. She was a Dallas Cowboy fan and cheered for the Texas Longhorns. She and Richard enjoyed traveling in their RV with great friends Dick and Evelyn Bell. You could find them on Wednesday nights at FUMC Celina dinners and Fridays cheering on the Bobcats while Luke and Ty ran the flags. She kept in touch with special friends and neighbors from Wylie and Frisco. She loved living in Spicewood as it made her closer to Ashley, Robert and Kyden. In Spicewood, Pat attended Bee Creek UMC and was embraced by an incredible group of neighbors. She enjoyed a good margarita on a Taco Tuesday, looking at the beautiful Pedernales River, socializing at the local winery and watching shows at the Community Theatre. Patricia will be laid to rest between her sweet Daddy and the love of her life, Richard on September 7 at 10:30 am at Restland in Dallas, Tx. Visitation will be September 6 from 6-8pm at Restland. 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas.
