Patrick McAdams Sibley's Obituary
SIBLEY, PATRICK MCADAMS came into the world on December 9, 1987 in Plano, Texas to Dr. Mark McAdams Sibley and Miriam Robertson Sibley. He left us unexpectedly on March 8, 2013 in Irving, Texas. Patrick attended Richardson schools and graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 2006. He was a wonderful, intelligent young man and was known for his sharp wit and hilarious ability to impersonate almost anyone. Patrick spent many hours discussing politics with friends, and especially, his dad. His greatest gifts and what we will most remember are his gentle spirit and kind soul. Patrick loved his family and friends with a depth that was remarkable. They, in turn, loved him back with that same intensity. Our world will not be the same without Patrick, but we are comforted by the knowledge that he is at peace with our Heavenly Father, and we will be reunited with him there someday. Preceded in death by grandparents, Dr. Marilyn McAdams Sibley and J. Dale Sibley. Survived by parents, two brothers: Austin Robertson Sibley and Lee Montgomery Sibley; one sister, Meredith Kathryn Sibley; grandparents, Dr. W.V. (Mike) Robertson and Kathryn Lemmerhirt Robertson; aunts and uncles: Dr. David and Pam Sibley, Dr. Stuart and Debra Sibley, Dr. Julia Robertson and Kari Oppliger, Linda and Kent Sams, Michael and Cindy Robertson, Martha and Matt Lee; and numerous cousins, extended family, and friends. Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church of Richardson on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the McAdams family cemetery near Huntsville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Parkland Foundation, 2777 Stemmons, Suite 1700, Dallas, Texas 75207.
