Patsy Ruth Beene's Obituary
Patsy Beene, 89, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. She was born August 10, 1936, in McKinney, Texas, to Juanita and Pat Patterson. Patsy lived a life defined by love, faith, and a deep devotion to her family and to God.
To those who knew her best, Patsy was simply the perfect mother, raising her children with unwavering love, guidance, and grace. Her family could never imagine a better mom to raise them, and her influence will live on through generations.
Patsy was married to the love of her life, Richard A. Beene, for 65 years until his passing in 2021. Their marriage was a testament to lifelong commitment, devotion, and shared faith. After his passing, Patsy carried his memory close to her heart, sustained by her faith and the promise of reunion. Their love remained the foundation of her life and family.
She was a devoted mother to Jeffry A. Beene, Angela Bearden, and Jason Beene, and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with two more great-grandchildren on the way.
Patsy's faith in God was the steady foundation of her life. She was a longtime member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, where she loved worship and singing in the choir. Her faith was not only something she believed, but something she lived daily through kindness, compassion, humility, and genuine care for others. She sincerely cared for every person she met, and even for those she never had the chance to meet.
She also cherished her years in the Hide-A-Way Lake community, where she was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and welcoming presence. Patsy was known for always smiling, never being unkind, and never speaking a harsh word. She had a calm, comforting way of making others feel at ease and left a lasting impression simply by being herself. She was, in every sense of the word, a great mom, a faithful wife, and a blessing to all who knew her.
Her family finds peace in knowing that Patsy is now in the presence of her Savior, reunited with the love of her life, and singing once again, this time in heaven.
