Patsy Ruth Besserer's Obituary
Patsy was born in Ft Worth, Texas on December 8, 1928 and passed away May 1, 2016 in Grapevine, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Capt David Besserer and her parents, Jewel and Clyde Bell. She attended TCU and Southwest State Teachers College in San Marcos. Patsy was a descendant of the Blundell family of Louisiana who came to North Texas in 1836 and also is a descendant of John Sevier, the first governor on Tennessee. She is survived by sons, David (Lisa) and Brian (Linda) Besserer; grandchildren, Bonnie and Breck Besserer and Emily and Sarah Besserer, and a new great grandchild Nora Lisa Rader. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers’ Association.
